WHO WE ARE

Uuniq Boats is the story of two childhood friends from a small Estonian coastal town called Haapsalu.

Growing up a few hundred meters from each other and sport sailing together for years, Olev and Mario have been partners since childhood.

When Mario discovered ship-building-engineer Olev's skill for handcrafting wooden canoes, Mario naturally offered him some business advice. Olev was combining traditional materials and new technologies, and creating canoes of incredible quality. Working together, Mario helped to make his friend's dream come to life, and a new era of eco-friendly canoe production was born.

Uuniq Boats combines the differing strengths of these two dedicated friends, along with traditional material, work ethic, and new technology. It was a dream with a plan! Uuniq Boats is more than just a company: It's a new era of the canoe.
