When it comes to exercising and connecting with nature and the outdoors, there are many options to consider. Some people choose to run, while others ride a bike. Did you know that you can also go canoeing as a way to recharge yourself? It’s an active yet meditative way to keep yourself in shape and improve your aerobic fitness, strength, and flexibility. Every now and then, when the weather is fine and Haapsalu Bay is calm, we carry our canoes to the water to paddle around, enjoy the outdoors, and "recharge our batteries."

Most tend to agree that the best part of canoeing is how it affords people an opportunity to spend quality time with their friends, all while doing something fun and unique. While your canoe takes you from point A to point B, your paddling buddy will keep you entertained and share the experience with you. While the actual act of canoeing will "recharge our batteries," we'll always return to our workshop afterward, where we'll continue sawing, bending, screwing, and glueing. For us, the canoe is a way of life, both in building them and enjoying them.
